NAT Configuration Menu
You may sign on as Supervisor or Network Manager to configure NAT.
Options that display in the NAT Configuration menu depend on your security
level. The menus shown are at the Supervisor security level.
NOTICE: You must reset the IAD when you have finished making changes to NAT
configuration for configuration changes to take effect.
The table below lists the default NAT settings.
A significant advantage of NAT is that you can configure it without changing
hosts or routers, other than those few routers on which NAT is configured.
NAT multiplexes internal network traffic and presents it to the Internet as if it
is from a single source with one IP address.
Enable/Disable NAT Debug Messages
To obtain diagnostic debug output during NAT operations, you may enable
NAT Debug Messages. Type “B” on the NAT Configuration menu, then type
“E” to enable or “D” to disable.
